Our founding partner, Nick Bruining, has been a Financial Planner in Western Australia for over 30 years. In 1992, Nick first set up his own licensed Financial Planning practice, N.C Bruining & Associates. Through years of excellence in his professional field, Nick’s reputation as a trusted and reliable expert led him to become a regular contributor to The West Australian newspaper and other media outlets. Nick is well known as one of the ‘Money Men’ on ABC radio’s very popular and long running segment.

As an independent, privately owned and licensed firm, our priority has always been to give clients honest advice, without any pressure or influence from a financial institution. For over three decades, this principle has guided us in building a team of qualified and experienced financial planners.

Based in West Leederville, the company now trades as Bruining Partners, reflecting the contribution from Nick’s partners in building and managing the firm.

Nick retired from the business in 2021 and the firm is now managed by David McGregor who worked by Nick’s side for over 15 years and Quyen Truong, the General Manager and Director
